Test OS:ubunt 10.04 desktop 32bits、11.10 server 64bits
Conclusion:The processure of installation is  successful until now and it work ok.

The easier method is using rutorrent audodl-irssi plug-in to realize irssi auto download.
Refer to this tutorial to install the rtorrent and rutorrent.
Then, you can install the audodl-irssi plug-in.
  1. sudo apt-get update
  2. sudo apt-get install irssi
  3. wget --no-check-certificate -O autodl-setup
  4. sudo sh autodl-setup
Copy the Code

The autodl-setup will ask you some questions to determine the steps it need to do.
Because of we had already installed the rtorrent 、rutorrent and ftp client befor, we wouldn't let the script install these again.
(If you want to try to install by autodl-setup script, you can try it yourself.I never install rtorrent by this way. )

Reader can get more information about the Autodl-Irssi plug-in functions in the official website.
Below,I provide a  example to tell you how to use the plug-in exactly. is a good PT and its IRC provide the real time torrent information and we can use this realize irssi auto download.
After you register the IRC, you can finish the plug-in setting. Please refer the below pictures.

Then, the rutorrent will download all the size between 10GB to 200GB torrents  including the character string'tvt' of the file names.
But only allow rtorrent download 10 torrents for one day maxmium.
The principle of this plugin work by downloding the torrent reall time to watch folder and the rtorrent will auto download.
The reader must to set the folder path correctly or the rtorrent don't start to download anyway.

###TEN END###
